Questions about pricing
When does charging start?
Not yet. FarmHerd is free while it is being tried out. Before any charge starts, you will be told the date and the price, and nothing is charged unless you agree to it. You can stop using FarmHerd at any time.
Who counts as a person?
Everyone who signs in to your FarmHerd business: you, your managers and your workers. Vets, advisers, buyers and auditors you share chosen records with, for a set time, do not count and cost nothing.
Why price by people, not by animals or hectares?
Because a bigger team uses more of FarmHerd: time sheets, wages, jobs and holidays. A large herd or a big acreage run by one person should not cost more just for its size.
How does the founding farm offer work?
The first 30 farms to join FarmHerd pay half price for their first 12 months of paid use, on whichever plan they choose. After that, the normal price applies. Once 30 farms have joined, the offer closes.
What if my team grows or shrinks?
Your plan follows your team: take on more people and you move up a plan; fewer, and you can move down.
Do I need to give card or bank details?
No. FarmHerd does not ask for card or bank details while it is free.
What happens to my records if I leave?
Your records are yours. You can download everything your business keeps in FarmHerd at any time, as spreadsheets. If you close your account, it is locked straight away and can be reopened for 30 days; after that, its records are deleted.
